NHRA to honor first responders in 2017

Throughout the 2017 season, the NHRA will pay tribute to the legion of first responders, the heroes who are among the first people to arrive and assist at a scene of an emergency. At each event, NHRA will honor local heroes and first responders with discounted tickets and a special Safety Safari parade as well as acknowledgement and salutes on a number of NHRA platforms.

Dark Side Racing Promo Photo Shoot with Trudie Lee
Dark Side Racing’s Fedorowich Family met with commercial photographer extraordinaire Trudie Lee (Harder Lee Photography) for a professional promo shoot and the results are nothing short of spectacular. The creative vision for the shoot is to produce a compelling movie-style poster that will be used as a marketing tool in our upcoming 2017 campaign.
The poster will also feature prominently in the pitch that’s being developed in collaboration with celebrated Canadian filmmaker, Jonathan Joffe (Jonathan Joffe Pictures) and will be shared with Canadian broadcasters in the coming months.
Sponsorships opportunities are available and custom packages can be developed.

Fire Up For Prostate Cancer Awareness Part Two!
Dark Side Racing was on location at Calgary Harley-Davidson on Saturday September 26 for for the final event in our Fire Up For Prostate Cancer Awareness campaign. And what a day it was!
Calgary Stampeders starting running back - Jon Cornish - joined us as our Guest of Honor and helped to elevate our campaign to new heights! Jon didn't just climb into the cockpit of the dragster - he wanted the full experience and he had Nik strap him into the 5-point harness seat belt.
The fans loved it and we're pretty sure Jon enjoyed it too! We had him grinning like a Cheshire Cat!

Fire Up For Prostate Cancer Awareness Tail Gate Party

Friday September 18, Dark Side Racing on location at McMahon Stadium as part of PROSTAID Calgary's "Calgary Stampeders Home Game Tailgate Party". Over the past 3 years Dark Side Racing has championed PROSTAID Calgary’s cause and successfully delivered our awareness message to an incredibly important target demographic: the 40+ male motorsport enthusiast. Calgary Stampeders football fans are known far and wide to be the loudest and most passionate fans in the entire CFL! We were thrilled to introduce the sights and sounds of Western Canada's only Top Fuel Dragster to another incredibly important demographic in our awareness campaign and fire up our 8,000 horse power motor during the tailgate event. Calgary Stampeders President - Gord Norrie and W Brett Wilson toke the Seat of Honor in the cockpit of the Dark Side Racing Top Fuel Dragster .

The Man Van was also on location with us at McMahon Stadium providing free PSA tests to men aged 40 and over.

August 11, 2015 Dark Side Racing was on display at Blackjacks Road House for a pre-Hot August Night Display and Engine Fire up and Terry Evans - K-97's morning show host - had the seat of honor in the cockpit our 8,000 horse power Top Fuel Dragster. Special thanks to Clarence Shields (owner of Blackjacks) and everyone who came out. It was truly a fantastic evening!
